These terms and conditions apply to bookings and stays with us at Färna Herrgård & Spa.
Just as we have obligations to all our guests, you as a guest have an obligation to behave in certain ways to make the experience as good as possible for everyone.
BOOKING & CONFIRMATION
- When booking, you must provide your name and email address. Before arrival, you need to have paid for your booking (unless there are other details about your booking, such as invoicing).
- Upon arrival, you may be required to identify yourself, so bring valid identification. If you are not registered in Sweden, you are also required by law to fill in a registration card. Upon check-in, the booking confirmation must be presented upon request.
- A reservation is binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a reservation number. You can get it verbally, in writing or via our website.
- To book a room with us, you must be at least 18 years old. If you book a room for someone under the age of 18, you will be held responsible for the minor, whether or not you are staying in the room yourself. For residents under the age of 18, a parent, guardian or other responsible person over the age of 18 is required to stay with us at the same time.
- For changes or cancellations, please see our cancellation policy. If you have booked a hotel room through a third party (e.g. Booking.com, Expedia.com, etc.), please contact them to change or cancel.
WELL-BEING & RULES OF PROCEDURE
- Be respectful and show consideration to hotel staff, other guests and people staying at the hotel. Threats, harassment and discrimination are not allowed.
- We have the right to refuse and eject you who are over-served from our restaurant and bar or other places where alcohol is served.
- Any alcohol you bring with you can only be consumed in your hotel room and not in other parts of the hotel.
- Smoking is not allowed in the room or in our other premises, nor at entrances as required by law. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. The smoking ban includes e-cigarettes. In case of unauthorized smoking, we have the right to charge SEK 2000 for cleaning and sanitizing the room. There are marked smoking areas outdoors
- We love dogs! However, for allergy reasons, dogs are not allowed in the mansion or our spa
- You may only leave waste that is normal for a hotel visit, so-called household waste. It is not allowed to leave bulky and hazardous waste
- If the room is left in a condition that requires decontamination or extra cleaning, we reserve the right to charge SEK 1500, or the higher amount that the decontamination costs.
- Keep a normal noise level in your room. After 22:00, keep the rooms and corridor quiet so as not to disturb other guests.
- Due to the risk of fire, you are not allowed to use candles, electric stoves, gas stoves or similar in our hotel rooms.
- If you cause a false fire alarm intentionally or negligently, and the emergency services respond, the hotel will charge you the cost of the call-out (SEK 6,000).
- It is not allowed to use our network for illegal activities or otherwise compromise the IT security of our systems.
- We are not responsible for valuables left in the room. For security reasons, we have no obligation to store items of high value or items that could put our staff or other guests at risk.We take no responsibility for the loss of any of your items
- We report to the police all crimes that occur in our country.
YOUR OWN SAFETY
- Make a note of the location of fire alarms/fire equipment, alarm buttons and emergency exits. We also encourage you to study the “safety leaflet” in the hotel binder. The entire facility is equipped with a fire alarm that is automatically connected to SOS alarm.
- In the event of cardiac arrest, the earliest possible start of CPR is crucial. A defibrillator is available at the reception in the main building.
- In case of EMERGENCY or FIRE: Call 112, SOS-alarm. Give FÄRNA HERRGÅRD as the address, and the CURRENT building.
- If you need to get in touch with us urgently when the reception and restaurant are closed for the night, you will find our emergency number in the hotel binder and on all entrance doors

FOLLOW-UP
- If you as a guest have behaved in a way that is contrary to the above rules, have not been able to pay in full for your accommodation, or have caused damage within the hotel or to other guests, the hotel reserves the right to refuse continued or future accommodation at the hotel, and charges / costs may be incurred. If the incident is of a more serious nature, a police report may be filed.
- You as a guest, or the person who guarantees the room, are responsible for any costs and/or damage caused to the hotel or third parties in connection with the stay. You are obliged to replace any movable property that has been broken or unlawfully removed from the hotel room or other areas of the hotel property.
