How to find us

• From Stockholm (about 2 hours): Drive E18 towards Västerås. Take exit 130 towards Surahammar/Kolsva and follow road 66 towards Kolsva. Just after Kolsva turn left towards Färna (signposted). Follow the signs for about 10 minutes.
• From Örebro (about 1 hour): Take road 50 towards Lindesberg and further towards Kopparberg. Turn off towards Skinnskatteberg and follow signs towards Färna.
• From Västerås (about 50 min): Follow road 66 towards Kolsva, then turn off towards Färna according to signs.

As public transport in our rural areas is very limited, we are happy to help arrange transportation solutions to suit your needs.

We cooperate with both bus and taxi companies to facilitate your travel to and from Färna Herrgård.

Whether you’re traveling in a group or individually, we’ll make sure you arrive safely and comfortably. For the sake of the environment, we try to carpool whenever possible.

Yes, we have 3 newly installed charging posts for electric cars at Smedjan. Let us know if you wish to book this at the time of reservation or talk to our reception on arrival. 150 SEK/day.

Parking spaces for motorhomes and caravans are available on the grassy area next to the large red sand barn. Here you live a stone’s throw from both the man or and the beautiful Norrsjön with swimming area and volleyball court.

It is about 10 minutes drive to both Kolsva and Skinnskatteberg. To Surahammar about 20 minutes and to Västerås it is about 50 minutes by car.
