Then you can take the long asphalt tour that takes you 7.4 miles to Färna via Gunnilbo and further south along one of the county’s most beautiful lakes – Långsvan down to the municipal border where you turn off to the northwest past historic manor and mill environments such as Bernshammar, Karmansbo and Uttersberg.
The road between Karmans bo and Uttersberg winds along the top of a narrow sand ridge – the funnest stretch of the tour. At Uttersberg, you can make a stop at Galleri Astley to experience works of art by Swedish as well as international artists in painting, graphics and sculptures. Café Guldmisteln is also located here.
The tour continues to the Riddarhyttan via Forsen and Fors gård, which offers riding tours on docile Icelandic horses – anything from one hour to two days. From Riddarhyttan you take the old Riddarhyttevägen to Skinnskatterberg
