By working actively with our goals through &#8220;F\u00e4rna f\u00f6r&#8230;.&#8221; we contribute to many of the goals, but we have selected 3 of the global goals where several sub-goals within these go hand in hand with ours. Every year we review which goals we focus on. We choose seasonal ingredients for your plate, as this is more sustainable. Of course, we sort and recycle everything in the best possible way, with increased focus on food waste, plastic and paper. We only use eco-labeled chemicals in our daily cleaning. Heat pumps (ground, sea, rock and air) and energy-efficient ventilation in large parts of the plant to reduce our energy use     <\/p>\n<p>We have been Nordic Swan Ecolabeled since 2012. To us, it is not just a symbol on a package, but a relationship with the people who grow, raise, and create the raw materials we work with. We visit our farmers, walk along the crop rows, greet the animals, and listen to their stories. It is in these meetings that we understand the journey of the ingredients, and it is that knowledge we bring into the kitchen.   <\/p>\n<p>When we cook, everything begins with the season. We follow nature&#8217;s rhythm and let the ingredients decide when a dish is to be born. The flavors that belong right now, in the forests of Bergslagen, on the farms around us, and in our own kitchen garden, become the foundation of our menus. It is a way of cooking that ensures every plate tells a story about the place and the time of year.   <\/p>\n<p>Our local farmers are a part of that work. They are our advisors, our flavor partners, and sometimes our sources of inspiration. It is natural for us to base our work on human rights and to create a safe, inclusive working environment\u2014not only within our own walls, but also in the businesses we collaborate with. It is a responsibility that follows every decision we take.  <\/p>\n<p>Our staff is a big part of the heart of F\u00e4rna. It is their commitment, ideas, and experiences that drive us forward. We strive to be a workplace where everyone feels welcome, where trust and confidence are given space, and where differences are seen as a strength. Today, we have several nationalities represented in the team, and every day we learn something new from each other. It is one of the things that makes F\u00e4rna a vibrant and dynamic place.    <\/p>\n<p>Contributing to the future of the industry is also important to us. Every year, we welcome interns from both local and international programs. For us, it is more than a collaboration\u2014it is a way to give back, to open doors, and to let new talents grow.
